Fair Harvest has been a host to many School Groups and is an ideal site for day excursions or camping trips.
A few ways schools have enjoyed our farm:
- Day excursions to fit the curriculum of the class (we have worked together with the teacher to organise exercises that best suit the age groups). These activities usually involve a number of parent helpers as the children are divided into smaller groups with adult helpers.
- School camps where a number of activities are off site around the local area. Most schools prefer to privatise the campground to fit in with their safety policies.
- School camps with a number of activities held onsite so that students are getting an immersive experience. Activities can include gardening, harvesting, cooking, reveg projects and small animals.
