We are always dreaming up and creating new projects on the farm.
Some projects stay in the pipeline for years until we have the right people and resources on board for them to become reality. Our big wetland project was one of these and in 2024 everything fell into place for this one to happen, it also turned out to be one of our driest years ever when water was on everybody’s mind.
Sometimes our projects evolve from a small idea and grow much bigger than we ever planned, the campground was only going to be an extra toilet and shower for our course participants. Other times our projects are hardly seen by the public such as becoming an Eco Certified Nature Tourism business and part of the Margaret River Region Eco Certified Destination.
We are always up to something and this is what keeps us interested and excited about Fair Harvest not just as a business but as our life project. Our projects are always in line with Permaculture thinking and we strive to make them good models for the public to experience and learn from.
